How to import drawings from your iskn tablet in Repaper Studio

If you own a Slate 2(+) or Repaper Faber-Castell tablet, you can easily import drawings stored on your tablet into Repaper Studio.

This article will show you how to import, save and edit your drawings in Repaper Studio.

👀 Good to know:

Drawings created with your iskn tablet in screenless mode can be imported into Repaper Studio as either black pencil or black ballpoint pen drawings. You can choose the rendering style of your digital drawing during the download process, as detailed below.


Import Your Drawings into Repaper Studio

  • Connect your iskn tablet to your device.

  • On the Repaper Studio home page, click 'IMPORT' to initiate the download of your creations.

Download, Save, or Delete Your Drawings

After importing your drawings, you can download and save them, or choose to delete any unwanted creations.

  • Click on the drawing's preview or the download icon to save it to your device.

    👀 On a Computer, you'll be prompted to select a location for saving your drawing.

  • Choose your import brush: Drawings created with your iskn tablet in screenless mode can be imported as either black pencil or black ballpoint pen drawings. Select your preferred option to save the digital version of your drawing. The download will begin automatically once you choose a brush.

Delete your Drawing

  • Click on the recycle bin icon to delete the drawing from your iskn tablet.

Edit Your Drawings

After saving a drawing, a pop-up message will confirm that the download was successful.

Click the "Yes" button to open the drawing in Repaper Studio and edit it in the app's drawing space.

You can also decide to export your creation from the Repaper Studio App to edit it with your favorite drawing software.

👀 Good to know:

  • All saved drawings are available in the "Last Creations" section on the main page of Repaper Studio, where you can access and edit them later.

  • Imported creations will display in landscape orientation in the 'Last Creations' section, even if they were originally created in portrait orientation. To save the drawing in portrait orientation, open it in the app, adjust the orientation, and save it again.
