With The Slate, you can draw on a sheet of paper or on a notebook up to 7 mm thick. This feature can sometimes cause hover lines:
✅ If lines appear without you touching the paper, The Slate has detected your tool as if it was in contact with a thicker sheet of drawing paper.
We therefore recommend that you lift your drawing implements up more than 7 mm above The Slate as soon as you stop drawing in order to avoid any accidental lines.
✅ If you are using The Ring, also make sure that it is properly located to your implement and at the correct distance.
Deviations in The Ring's position can cause unintended lines. Remember to repeat the calibration step every time you change implements.
🚩 Tip:
Click on Undo when you notice an unwanted line (this will cancel the line in question).
