The Slate digitizes your notes in real time with the Imagink app when you are in Live mode. In Screenless mode, the Slate saves them automatically thanks to its embedded memory.

In both cases, your notes are recognized by Imagink, which allows you to modify and organize your notes as you wish. Your notes can be in a second step converted and exported to a PNG format or as a vectorial SVG file, leaving you the possibility to use handwriting recognition software (OCR) to convert your notes into a text file. This software is not included in the Slate pack.
